Overview
This standard covers connectors for electric and electronic applications. The test described in this standard determines the insertion loss of single- and multi-pole filters which are integral parts of a connector. By conducting the test described in this standard it is established if a cable clamp is suitable to resist mechanical stress as it occurs during normal use. The responsible Committee is K 651 "Steckverbinder" ("Connectors") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) of DIN and VDE.
