Overview
This standard deals with the safety of UV radiation water treatment appliances for household and similar use, the rated voltage of which does not exceed 250 V. The text of the 1. edition of IEC 60335-2-109:2010-05 which has been ratified without common CENELEC amendments has been adopted as EN 60335-2-109:2010-06 in this standard. The responsible Committee is Subcommittee UK 511.11 "Motorische Geräte" ("Motor-operated appliances") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) of DIN and VDE.
