Overview
Due to the European Corrigendum (CENELEC-Corrigendum of March 2010 to EN 60601-1-3:2008), DIN EN 60601-1-3 (VDE 0750-1-3):2008-12 shall be corrected as follows: Add the following date of withdrawal in the foreword: 2012-06-01. Delete the following sentences: However, EN 60601-1-3:1994 remains valid until all the parts 2 that are used in conjunction with this standard have been withdrawn. No date of withdrawal of conflicting national standards (dow) has therefore been fixed. However, when part 1-3 is used for appliances not covered by a part 2, EN 60601-1-3:1994 is not to be used after 2009-09-12. The responsible Committee is NA 080-00-12 GA Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss NAR/DKE "Strahlenschutz" (Joint Working Committee NAR/DKE "Radiation protection") at DIN, the German Institute for Standardization and at the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE, collaborating with Deutsche Röntgengesellschaft (German Radiological Society) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nuklearmedizin e. V. (DGN) (German Society of Nuclear Medicine), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Medizinische Physik e. V. (DGMP) (German Society for Medical Physics) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Radioonkologie (DEGRO) e. V. (German Society for Radio Oncology).
