Safety of power transformers, power supply units and similar products - Part 2-7: Particular requirements for transformers for toys (IEC 96/173/CD:2001)
Abstract
This part 2 of IEC 61558 applies to stationary and portable, single-phase and polyphase, aircooled (natural or forced) safety isolating transformers for toys, having a rated supply voltage not exceeding 250V a.c., a rated frequency of 50/60 Hz, a rated output not exceeding 200 VA and a rated output current not exceeding 10 A. This standard does not in general take into account playing with the transformer by children.
