IEC 60793-1-471 Ed 1.0: Measurement methods and test procedures - Macrobending loss for A3 and A4 category fibres
Abstract
This part of IEC 60793 establishes uniform requirements for measuring macrobending sensitivity for category A3 and A4 multimode fibres, thereby assisting in the inspection of fibres and cables for commercial purposes. The test consists of measuring the fibres under multiple bend conditions for a specified bend radius.
