Abstract
This part of IEC 61300 describes a test procedure to determine the suitability of a fibre optic interconnecting device to withstand immersion cooled environments. The test is intended to indicate the performance of such devices when submerged in a specified type of immersion cooling liquid at a defined temperature and duration. In general, the evaluation is limited to single-phase coolants, which do not boil at the operating temperature.
