State of railway vehicles - Control and instrumentation technology - Part 207-11: Tachograph
Abstract
The general scope of application of this standard is specified in DIN 27200. This standard applies to tachographs with electronic driving data recording (EFR) and older electromechanical recording devices on railway vehicles. If the recording function fails, a current train journey does not have to be stopped. However, a corresponding error message must be sent so that short-term maintenance measures to be carried out. The associated train control system is not to be considered faulty (this does not apply to tachographs with integrated monitoring functions of the train control system). Data evaluation and archiving are to be regulated separately in corresponding instructions and are not part of this standard.
