Inserts and device inserts made of insulating material, which are connected to each other by a locking system without the use of screws
Abstract
This standard applies to inserts and equipment inserts made of insulating material which are connected to each other by a bayonet system without the use of screws. The device inserts can be used, for example, to accommodate terminals and connections, and/or to accommodate electrical or electronic functions, as well as for suspension devices for luminaires. The fixtures are to be provided for wall and ceiling mounting. The use of fans is not initially planned, the classification according to DIN EN 60670-1 without fans applies. The combination of operational recordings and equipment inserts must meet the requirements of DIN EN 60670-21.
