Asset Administration Shell for industrial applications - Part 5: Interfaces
Abstract
IEC 63278 series is standardizing a digital representation of an asset, called Asset Administration Shell (AAS). The purpose of the Asset Administration Shell is to enable two or more software applications to exchange information and to mutually use the information that has been exchanged in a trusted and secure manner. This part 5 of the IEC 63278 series specifies the interfaces of the Asset Administration Shell (AAS). The main part of this document specifies the requirements for the interfaces that are derived and summarized mainly from the parts 1 of the series.
