Abstract
This part of IEC 60794 describes the test methods for the deformation of cables due to cyclic loads (creep), according to method E32. This document applies to optical fibre cables for use with telecommunications equipment and equipment using similar techniques, and to cables containing a combination of optical fibres and electrical conductors. Throughout this document, the term "optical cable" may also include optical fibre units, micro-product fibre units.
