Abstract
This standard applies to the planning, installation, expansion, modification and operation of general fire, intruder and hold-up alarm systems. For fire alarm systems, it applies in conjunction with DIN VDE 0833-2 (VDE 0833-2); for intrusion and hold-up alarm systems, it applies in conjunction with DIN VDE 0833-3 (VDE 0833-3).
