Measuring relays and protection equipment - Part 132: Functional requirements for directional power protection
Abstract
According to the decision taken at the plenary meeting of IEC TC95 held on November 9, 2018 in Frankfurt (DE), it was decided to revise IEC 60255-12 and replace it by IEC 60255-132 and IEC 60255-167 (see 95/406/RM item 11). IEC 60255-12 specifies the performance requirements of directional relays and power relays with two input energizing quantities as well as methods of presenting the characteristics and performance of these relays. Excludes impedance relays and deals specifically with: relays measuring phase angle (direction); relays measuring power. All tests are type tests.
