Abstract
This document establishes the testing conditions, testing methods and evaluation principles for interturn short-circuit faults in the cylindrical rotors during manufacturing process, commissioning, maintenance and operation of synchronous machines. This document is applicable to 2 and 4 pole cylindrical-rotor synchronous machines.
