Abstract
This part of IEC 62087 series specifies procedures for measuring the power consumption of Small Network Equipment (SNE) while in an idle state. It defines the interfaces that shall be active and connected for this test procedure and is written with the intent of addressing current and future devices that qualify as a SNE. This document does not define how an SNE is placed into an idle state.
