Guide to pressure calculation for electrical installations with rated voltages above 1 kV AC and their installation rooms in the event of an arc fault
Abstract
This guideline describes the principles and procedures for calculating the pressure rise in switchgear assemblies with rated voltages greater than 1 kV AC and their installation rooms in case of an arc fault. In accordance with the requirements of DIN EN 61936-1, the mechanical load on the building construction caused by the internal pressure rise due to an arc fault must be taken into account when planning installation rooms.
