Abstract
This part of IEC 61753 contains the minimum requirements and severity levels that a fibre optic connector with multimode fibre termination must meet in order to be assigned to the IEC standard category OP+HD - Extended protected outdoor environment with additional heat dissipation, as defined in Annex A of IEC 61753-1. These connectors are used in the specified outdoor environment and are thus an important part of modern outdoor telecommunication applications.
