Abstract
This working group develops a document series to provide procedures and an environment to manage and use intelligent devices effectively. Intelligent Device Management (IDM) represents activities for managing intelligent devices through the facility lifecycle without implying a particular asset management tool or set of those tools. Implementation of IDM increases the value from intelligent devices.
