Abstract

This standard contains specifications concerning the protection of telecommunications systems and installations (protection of persons and of objects) against influences caused by voltages and/or currents induced by railway ac power systems with the frequency 16,7 Hz or exceptionally 50 Hz which use the rail as return conductor. Hereby the standard refers to DIN VDE 0845-6-1 (VDE 0845-6-1), which describes or specifies, respectively, the general information, the relevant measurement and calculation methods and the limits and adds the specific requirements.
