The East Regional Final of this year's BUSINESS SCHOOLGAMES were held in DIN's Berlin offices on 19 February 2015. 75 students from schools in Berlin and Brandenburg participated in the tournament. Team winners in the junior school category were the Freie Oberschule Baruth and for the senior schools, the OSZ Bürowirtschaft I in Berlin.

The aim of the BUSINESS SCHOOLGAMES is to introduce business topics to young people in a fun way, encouraging entrepreneurial thinking at an early age. DIN is a sponsor of the Games. In her welcome speech, Astrid Wirges, Member of DIN's Management Board and Head of Human Resources and Legal Affairs for the DIN Group, pointed out that it is also important for DIN that topics relating to business and economics are taught early on in schools, for this will help disseminate information on DIN and standardization.

On the same day an event encouraging partnerships between schools and businesses took place, attended by more than 30 educators, who exchanged experience and discussed best practices.
