Our success is based on close cooperation with a number of partner organizations.

DIN's work covers a broad spectrum, ranging from the development of standards to expert consultation services in international development cooperation. These services encompass promoting trade, opening markets, encouraging innovation and technology transfer and supporting research.

When working on quality infrastructures, DIN’s International Consultation Service often works closely with the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) , particularly in the area of International Conformity Assessment Technology Transfer (iCATT), and the German national metrology insitute, the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB).

We also often cooperate with other national standards bodies or the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) in order to represent the diversity of standards work, especially in Europe.
