Commissions

DIN's Commissions advise the Chairman of the Executive Board. They coordinate activities within a specific area of standardization and network with other organizations.

DIN has several subordinate bodies called "Commissions" who specialize in a specific area of standards work. These Commissions

  • provide a platform for the exchange of information between decision-makers in a specific sector,
  • determine standardization needs within that sector and advise the Chairman of DIN's Executive Board accordingly.

DIN's Health Commission coordinates activities within DIN relating to the healthcare industry.

Providing a forum for small businesses who have questions about standardization.
